 Mark studied Classical Piano and Theory from the age of 5yrs and Guitar from the age of 11 yrs. In 1985, after a 4 year Music Degree and Post Graduate course at a Music College in London, Mark returned to his home on Merseyside, where he divided his time between school teaching, performing and giving private tuition. By 1992 the high demand for private tuition prompted Mark to open an independent Music Tuition Centre, where together with 17 other music teachers, gave one-to-one and group tuition in just about every musical instrument; Mark’s own specialist areas being Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Guitar, Vocals and Music Theory. Mark acted as local representative for a large music examination board during this time until returning to school teaching in 2001. Today he heads a Music department at a large school in Wigan and  continues to teach privately; as well as perform and compose. To date he has recorded helping over 3,600 students of all ages, to pass graded and diploma examinations in Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Guitar, Singing and Theory, with boards such as ABRSM, LCMM, Trinity and Guildhall. He has also had 11 of his students continue their studies to become fully qualified music teachers.
